An area of high-pressure will be exiting the province and moving east into Ontario, This should be the start of a pattern shift that will allow for warmer temperatures as we end the weekend.
Saturday will be a fairly decent day as an area of high pressure moves east into Ontario. Cloudy skies will be in place with mix periods of overcast skies particularly in the evening as the winds will be out of the south. The south winds should aid in removing the -10 to -15 windchill‘s that will be in place in the morning. High temperatures on the day Saturday should be in the minus single digits across the southern half of the province a few localities may climb above zero aiding in snow melt. Overnight on Saturday clouds will fill in with the southerly flow still in place, overnight lows will not drop much so having temperature is around or just slightly above -10° should aid in and slight freezing of snow overnight. Wind chills will not be that bad if there will be wind chills it’ll be in the minus double digits. There be a slight chance for flurries on Saturday nights before skies clear around the late morning.
A beautiful afternoon will be in store for Sunday high temperatures will be in the mid to high minus single digits Near 0°C and melting probably will be a occurrence with the sun a little bit higher in the sky. For the first half of the day maybe a little bit cloudier than usual but towards the latter half of the day the sun should start shining. For Sunday night winds will shift to the south overnight lows will drop in to the minus double digits windchills will probably will be in the -15 Celsius range clear to partly cloudy skies expected. This may be one of the last few nights were wind chills exceed the -10° range.
As we start to beginning of the week It’ll be the start of a warm week with temperatures each day climbing above zero and Schworm up towards +1 to about +3 for your Monday. There is a possibility on Tuesday for a disturbance to cross the province with either a rain or snow mix if it gets warm enough when does disturbance drops by there may be a chance for some thunderstorms but that remains low at this point in time .
